Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima LongHaul hanging style bike rack and seeing how it fits on our 2019 Fleetwood Bounder motor home. Now this is going to be a hanging style rack approved for use on motor homes and that's important because not all bike racks are. These have to be built to a special specification, excuse me, to withstand the extra shock and vibration we have at the back of a motor home compared to a typical passenger vehicle. And this one's going to be a really solid option too. So if you're looking to carry up to four bikes this one's going to be able to do that up to 37 and a half pounds each. more

Yes. Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Swagman Escapee 2-Bike Rack and seeing how it fits in the back of this 2019 Fleetwood Bounder Motorhome. Now this is a platform style bike rack which means the bike sits on top of the rack, in this case in these two trays or wheel cradles. They're pretty wide cradles, able to accommodate a five inch wide tire, which is great but this bike rack is going to be a pretty standout one for a number of reasons. It's approved for motorhome use which is important when picking out a bike rack because motorhome approved racks have to be built to a certain spec. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Yakima long haul hanging bike rack. We'll take a look at how it fits our 2023 Fleetwood Discovery Motor Home. So this is a bike rack that is designed for your fifth wheels, for your trailers and your motor homes. It has extra stability for your rack because of the extra movement behind your motor home. You wanna make sure that it is strong and sturdy. There are some downsides to this hanging rack though like how with our specific motor home here, the hitch is a little close to the bumper. more

Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack for two heavy electric bikes, and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2023 Fleetwood Discovery motorhome. If you're looking for a bike rack for your heavy bikes and you have a motorhome, your options are limited because you need extra heavyweight capacity and an extra sturdy bike rack to hold up to the extra movement behind a motorhome. Fortunately, this is gonna be designed exactly for that. We have an impressive weight capacity of 80 pounds per bike plus a wheelbase capacity of 60 inches which is for those extra large frames and even maybe your smaller or common bikes. There are some downsides with this on the motorhome, though. The first thing is gonna be the distance away from the back of our Fleetwood Discovery. more

Yakima RoadTrip 4 Bike Rack Review - 2005 Fleetwood Bounder Motorhome- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2005 Fleetwood Bounder, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Yakima Road Trip Hanging Style 4 Bike Rack for RV's. That's part number Y-0-2-4-7-7.Most people don't realize that the rear of their RV is so far away from the rear axle that it causes a lot of movement here at the bike rack end. With no moving parts, the Yakima Road Trip accounts for this making a nice stable ride for our four bikes. Like most hanging style bike racks, it holds our bikes by the top tube and an anti-sway cradle. The anti-sway is going to help cut down on that sway, preventing bike to bike contact and bike to RV contact.It uses zip strips. This is a step up compare to an adjustable rubber strap that may deteriorate over time. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2005 Fleetwood Bounder, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Yakima Long Haul hanging style four bike rack for RVs. That's part number Y02476. What most people don't realize is that there is a lot of movement at the rear of their RV because it sits so far back from the rear axle. The Long Haul is designed with few moving parts to protect against that movement. Like most hanging style bike racks, it holds our bikes by the top tube with an anti-sway. The anti-sway is right here at our seat post tube. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Fleetwood Bounder, we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima Roadtrip 4-bike rack, part number Y02477. This is going to a great solution whether you're going down to the campgrounds, or going across country to take your bike with you. You're going to have three points of contact that's going to keep your bike secure. Two on the cross-frame here, and then one on the vertical support, acting as anti-sway, preventing so much movement, and preventing bike to bike contact.On either side of the cradle, we're going to have a few buttons. Simply push in on the buttons, and we can pull the zip strip out. Once we remove all the ratcheting zip strips, we can go ahead and pull our bike off and take a closer look at some of the details. more

Speaker 1: Here on our 2017 Fleetwood Bounder we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima Long Haul 4 Bike Rack, part number Y02476. The Yakima Long Haul is going to be a great solution to get your bike with you whether you're going to the camp grounds, or even going across the country. We're going to have three points of contact, two on the cross tube of the frame here and then one on the vertical support, which is going to act as a anti-sway, preventing too much movement and bike to bike contact.To remove the bike we're going to simply come to the cradles and we're going to have two buttons on each side, then we can remove the ratcheting zip strips. Once you have all three removed we can go ahead and take our bike and set it aside so we can take a closer look at some of the features. I always like to replace the zip strips, that way I won't have to worry about them getting lost or damaged. In each one of our cradles we're going to have a nice, soft padding that's not only going to keep our bike secure, but it's also going to prevent any kind of scratches or abrasions to the paint.Also, at the end of our arms here we're going to have integrated bottle openers, so at the end of your bike ride if you feel like popping open a bottle of your favorite drink you'll be able to right here. more
